Components
The S Series is fitted with high-performance drivers: LF woofers with 2.5” voice coils that deliver the low frequency performance one would expect from much larger cabinets. And 1.5” compression drivers with 60° x 90° rotatable horns and Ketone Polymer diaphragms, that have the SPL, clarity and intelligibility one expects from a LeraSonic product.

The Shape
The S has a very unique and ergonomic shape that gives it a cutting edge, aggressive look while improving its portability and acoustical performance. The shape allows for the S to be used as a stage monitor, and to be mounted under ceilings and balconies with a lower profile. The symmetrical shape also allows the placement of the HF driver on the desired side – weather for performer’s preference, or system design purposes.

Materials
Unlike many cabinets in its class, the S is built from calibrated 15mm Baltic birch, not plastic or inferior composite materials. And it’s built entirely in our California plant, adding further to its value.

The Handles
All S-Series units have two built in handles on the back, which are engineered for extra comfort and make the cabinet much easier to carry. Designed in conjunction with the rest of the enclosure, the handles make it possible to carry two units, one in each hand, without much strain. This means one person can carry two loudspeakers –   without assistance. The handles also extend beyond the back of the unit, protecting the back panel connectors.
